WOW! 20,000 characters! This is better than "Notes"! Today I decided to do this. 50 years is a long time. Too long for us to sit on the sidelines. We aren't getting any younger, thinner, "hairier" (if that's a proper word), smarter, more patient or sociable. Now is the time to show up on August 26th and do your thing....our thing. My older brother of 68 years passed away 3 days ago. You've all suffered similar losses and understand that we aren't "bulletproof" any longer....we never have been, but an event like that really brings it home. So.....I don't know how many of the Class of 67 read this "thing" but I suppose that this is a challenge of sorts. Make the time, make the effort, make the journey. If this is the first or possibly the last reunion that you ever attend, 50 years is a good number to shoot for. So much for the "Rah Rah". For those of you who may have given me a passing thought over the years, Yes...I am alive and well and have lived in Eastern Washington, slightly North of Spokane, for the last 40 years. Currently, I am still active as an Architect and Structural Designer. I suppose my specialty these days are C.A. Storage Buildings, Refrigerated Structures and Fruit Packing & Processing Plants from Hood River to Chelan and all points in between. If it wasn't fun, I'd be retired! My wife of 44 years and I take RV trips in the summer months.......Expand for more
